In 1964, Ed and Margie Imo opened a small pizza shop on the south side of St. Louis with a simple dream — to make pizza the way their neighborhood deserved. Armed with a unique cracker-thin crust recipe and a love for Provel cheese, they built something extraordinary from humble beginnings.
What started as a single corner shop quickly won the hearts (and appetites) of an entire city. The distinctive square-cut slices, the unmistakably gooey Provel, and the perfectly crisp crust became a ritual — a taste that defines St. Louis for generations.
